SERVICES PROVIDED:

Central San Joaquin Water Conservation District provides supplemental surface water and has established a groundwater extraction fee to conserve and replenish the over drafted groundwater basin.  

DESCRIPTION OF DISTRICT:

1.    Formed in 1958

2.    Enabling Act:    California Water Conservation District act of 1937.

3.    Governing Body:  Each director on the Board is elected to office by the registered voters located within each division. They are elected for a four-year term.

5.     Meeting Schedule:  Board meetings are typically held on either the first and/or third Thursday of the month at 12:00 pm.  Other meetings are scheduled as needed.  Board meetings are held either at 11 S San Joaquin St, Ste 306 or the Collegeville Fire Station located at 13225 E Mariposa Rd, Stockton.
