SERVICES PROVIDED:

This  Cemetery district provides burial services for those residents within our jurisdictional boundaries and anyone with eligible rights established by the Health & Safety Code Section 9060 & 9061. Call the cemetery office for more information. 

DESCRIPTION OF DISTRICT:

1.      Formed in 1939

 2.      Enabling Act:  California Health and Safety Code Sections 9000-9093, Public Cemetery,  District Law.

3.      Governing Body:  The Board of Directors are appointed by the County Board of Supervisors to serve 4-year terms and must be a resident of the Escalon Cemetery District.
