SERVICES PROVIDED: RD 2042 is responsible for operating and maintaining the levee system and drainage facilities that provides flood protection for primarily agricultural land, infrastructure, and urban developments. RD 2024 includes a mix of urban and rural uses.
The District is located within the boundaries of the Central Delta Water Agency and is bordered by Telephone Cut to the north, Bishop Cut to the west, Disappointment Slough and Bear Creek to the south, and I-5 to the east.
