SERVICES PROVIDED:

The Woodbridge Irrigation District provides irrigation water to landowners within the dstrict and bulk water service to the Cities of Lodi and Stockton served by a 100 mile long canal system. The District has Pre-1914 water rights and licenses allowing the District to divert water from the Mokelumne River.

DESCRIPTION OF DISTRICT:

1.      Formed in 1909

2.      Enabling Act:  California Water Code Division 11, Section 20500 et seq

3.      Governing Body:  Board members are elected from within designated divisions within the district.  They must be a resident and landowner within the division they represent. Board members serve a 4-year term.
